Sitter Utilization
Faith Henson, RN, BSN, MSNL, NE-BC was part of a dynamic multidisciplinary team that tackled a major issue at Scottsdale Healthcare Shea with sitter utilization. She will present their approach in identifying factors driving the sitter utilization, designing a solution, and implementation. She will then share successes and lessons learned and finally, how they changed a culture and improved patient safety as well as reducing the "automatic utilization of sitters".
Yuma Regional Medical Center's TCAB Journey, Successes and Lessons
Marla Moore, RN, BSN, MA will present how YRMC embarked on the journey of Transformational Leadership Training, followed by Implementing Changes, and Outcomes. The journey started in January, 2007 and concluded two years later in 2009. She will discuss the successes and lessons of this outstanding Transformation of Patient Care at the Bedside. Additionally, Marla will also provide information on the overall experience of working with AONE on this amazing project.
