- AzONE Member's Section
Welcome to the AzONE Members Section of our web site. This is the source for official information and member data.
Dear AzONE Members:
Thank you for your membership in AzONE, the largest community membership of nursing leaders in Arizona. Today we are facing many challenges in a tumultuous healthcare environment. Now, more than any other year in history, we must draw support from colleagues, other organizations as well as experts to ensure we are prepared to support the changes that are coming through healthcare reform.
The strongest attribute of our organization is our membership. In 2009, membership reached 214. We have a goal of adding an additional 50 members this year and have implemented some changes to help us meet this goal.
This year we are pleased to introduce the ability to access meetings remotely from three sites; Flagstaff, Scottsdale, and Tucson. We are hoping members will take advantage of this increased ease of access and increase our membership and ability to network.
It is important that you help us on these efforts to increase membership by:
- Inviting a colleague to join.
- Recruiting a prospective member, perhaps one in a remote area, now that we have better access to meeting sites through teleconferencing.
- Participating in our meetings and planning sessions.
- Sharing the benefits of advocacy and networking with your staff and work colleagues.
Through your participation, you will have access to pertinent educational programs, updates and reports from our strategic partners ASBN, AzNA & AZHHA and gain access to a resourceful network of other nurse leaders throughout the state of Arizona.
The AzONE board is committed to our mission and we take our work seriously as we continue to build our membership, offer key resources to enhance our ability to meet this mission, and commit to providing a voice of leadership for nursing across the state. We look forward to an exciting year.
Sincerely,
Kim Post, RN
President
