Dear AzONE Members:
Thank you for your membership in Arizona Organization of Nurse Executives (AzONE), the largest community membership of nursing leaders in Arizona. This is an important time for us. Our healthcare system is in the midst of more changes than many of us have seen in our careers. As we move further into healthcare reform we will need the support of healthcare colleagues and experts to help us navigate and influence the new environment.
The strongest attribute of our organization is our membership. The ability to network and learn from others who are on the same journey will in the long term help all of us be successful in managing change.
Efforts begun last year have increased our membership but we need to reach out to the leaders in our state who have not joined. This year we have increased our ability to access meetings remotely to four sites, Flagstaff, Scottsdale, Tucson, and Yuma. We are hoping this increased access will encourage more to join and increase our numbers and networking opportunities. Please:
- Invite a colleague to join,
- Participate in our meetings,
- Share the benefits of advocacy and networking with your staff and work colleagues.
Through participation in AzONE, you will have access to pertinent educational programs, updates and reports from our strategic partners Arizona State Board of Nursing, Arizona Nurses Association & Arizona Hospitals and Healthcare Association.
The AzONE board is committed to our members and providing a voice for nursing leadership across the state. Please help us make this an exciting year.
