Ancillary Services Manager
Maricopa County Correctional Health Services provides evidence-based, medically necessary medical treatment to patients in the Maricopa County Jails so that they can proceed through the judicial system. Correctional Health Services (CHS) is an integrated health system that provides health, mental health and dental services for a diverse population spanning 6 jails. Health clinics are located inside the Maricopa County jails in a safe and secure working environment provided by the Maricopa County Sheriffs Office. As the 4th largest jail system in the country, we seek to be the leader in correctional health care.
The Ancillary Services Manager oversees clinical support services so that CHS can fulfill its mission of providing medically necessary, evidence based integrated health care to incarcerated patients going through the judicial system. Clinical management of budgeted ancillary services includes but not limited to pharmacy at $3.9 million; laboratory services at $500K; and radiology services at $200K annually. The Ancillary Services Manager is responsible for work of considerable difficulty in planning, implementing, and evaluating these services which requires continuous assessment, changes in processes to improve continuity of care while decreasing costs.
Under the authority of the Director of Nurses the Ancillary Services Manager is responsible for the clinical management of all ancillary services which include pharmacy, laboratory, radiology, dentistry, and on-site specialty service coordination such as Ortho clinics, OBGYN clinics, Podiatry, Optometry, Physical and Occupational Therapy at the front line level.
Plans, implements, and evaluates clinical operations to ensure continuity of care, manage cost and effectiveness of services. Responsibilities also include oversight of infection control, utilization management to include off-site specialty services, quality management, policy and procedure, and compliance for accreditation.
Required: BSN, Prior senior management operations experience, 5 years, compliance to standards/accreditation; clinical management of ancillary services; electronic medical records implementation.
Preferred: MSN, ANP, MBA, Prior senior management operations experience in a public agency, 10 years.

Nurse Manager for Telemetry Unit (Shea Campus)
The position is responsible for the 32-bed telemetry unit as well as 16-bed inpatient Diagnostic Care Unit and the outpatient Diagnostic Care Program. Reporting to the Vice President of Operations at Scottsdale Healthcare Shea, this position provides clinical management and operational direction for the telemetry and Diagnostic Care Unit. In addition, serves as tactical point person as it relates to patient care, staff development, physician relationships, quality initiatives, program development and system-wide success. This position is also responsible for assuring evidence-based patient care by creating an environment that encourages the use of research in practice.
The successful candidate will hold a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited school of nursing and have or be eligible for an Arizona State RN License. 5 years in nursing and 1 year as a supervisor required. Clinical experience in med/surg, telemetry, critical care and/or emergency department preferred. A Master’s Degree is preferred.
